CFB Multiverse: 2026 CFP Semifinal Preview - Big Picture
Schedule Performance
The Indiana Hoosiers are the only undefeated team heading into the Semifinal Round of the 2026 College Football Playoff. They entered the CFP with the #1 seed and have turned out to be this season’s juggernaut. Fellow Big Ten member Oregon had the second highest seeding, #5, and tied for second in terms of records going into the Semifinals. The duck’s one lass during so far during the 2025-26 season came in their sixth game at the hands of Indiana.
Ole Miss earned the #6 seed and is the SEC’s last program standing. Their one loss came in the 7th game to conference champion runner-up, Georgia. The team from Oxford made up for that in a repeat matchup against the Bulldogs to advance through the Quarterfinal.
Miami (FL) entered the 2026 CFP with the #10 seed and a lot of speculation surrounding their regular season resume. They dropped two games, with both opponents being ACC members. The first was in their 6th matchup and against Louisville. The other lass was in their second matchup and against SMU.
