CFB Multiverse: 2026 CFP Semifinal Preview - Total Offense



1: Ole Miss

Ole Miss is heading into the CFP Semifinal with the largest tally of offensive yards earned.  The team out of Oxford has recorded 6,947 yards of total offense through 14 games of play in 2025-26.  They also lead in terms of passing yards share, with 3,463 (64%) of yards earned through the air.  Their remaining share was 2,524 (36%) yards earned on the ground. 


2: Indiana

Indiana is next up in offensive production, with 6,553 total yards earned.  They had the lowest passing share of the Semifinalists.  The Hoosiers recoded 3,463 (53%) of their yards through the air and the remaining 3,090 (47%) on the ground.  They’re heading into the next round as the second most productive offense but the most balanced in terms of passing/rushing. 


3: Oregon

The Oregon Ducks tallied up 6,405 yards of total offense.  They earned 3,519 (55%) of those through the air and found the remaining 2,886 (46%) on the ground. 


4: Miami (FL)

Miami (FL) is going into the Semifinals with the lowest total offensive production, by a wide margin.  They’ve tallied up 5,679 yards of total offense across 14 games, 726 yards fewer than Oregon.  The Hurricanes have been more pass heavy, with 3,551 (62%) of their yards earned through the air.
